The application period is open for the California Junior Scholarship Federation. Students who earn high grades, are interested in serving the community, and plan to attend college should sign up for CJSF. If you are interested, add the class in Google Classroom using the code f4y3rzhw. Fill out the application in Google Classroom for your grade level by August 21. If you have questions, stop by C35 or see Mrs. Alarcon.

RMS is in need of parents to be part of the booster club to help plan fundraisers and set up several events this year. If you are interested, please contact Dr. Grossman at mgrossman@gvusd.org.

We will be establishing a ballot for all booster board positions this week that will be sent out next week for the community to vote on.

RMS also needs parents to attend School Site Council this year to review the school plan and make RMS an amazing place. Again if interested, please contact Dr. Grossman at mgrossman@gvusd.org

If you haven't done so already, please fill out the free and reduced lunch application at the following link EZMealApp. Filling out the free and reduced lunch form is important because it helps bring additional funding and services to RMS. Even if your child brings their own lunch or attends a school where all students receive free lunch, completing the form ensures that the school receives all available support to benefit teachers and students.
