Summer School Information

Students who do not pass an academic course at Ranchos Middle School for the 2025-26 school year will need to attend summer school to make up that class.  Students must have a 60% or higher by the end of each semester to pass the class. The grading periods ends Friday, December 18th and Friday, June 4th. Summer School is held in-person at Liberty High School. Failure to attend summer school puts the student at risk of grade retention. 

8th grade students must meet the following requirements to participate in the promotion ceremony

• Pass all core classes with at least a 60% by the end of the grading period; June 4th
• AND earn a 2.0 GPA.
